God Is Looking For Conquerors Not cowards
A conqueror is one who wins a country in war, subdues or subjugates a people, or overcomes an adversary. Conversely a coward is a person who lacks the courage to do or endure dangerous or unpleasant things.
The question we the church have to ask ourselves today is are we conquerors or a cowards. The Bible say’s in Romans 3:36-37
As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Dr. King pinned this in his letter from Birmingham Jail, “Whenever the early Christians entered a town, the people in power became disturbed and immediately sought to convict the Christians for being disturbers of the peace and outside agitators. But the Christians pressed on, in the conviction that they were a colony of heaven, called to obey God rather than a man. Small in number, they were big in commitment. They were too God intoxicated to be astronomically intimidated. By their effort and example they brought an end to such ancient evils as infanticide and gladiatorial contests.”
