Have you ever wanted something so much that when you went to purchase it you didn’t even question its price?
You knew that whatever the price – that’s what it was worth and maybe even more. To you, the price was a no-brainer because you knew the worth of that thing.
How awesome would it be if we could remove doubt in our self-worth in the same way. So that we could walk this world 100% sure of how much we are worth and make decisions in our lives that show our worth not just to the world, but to ourselves.
When you know your own worth you walk with confidence, grace, and your essence pours over the rest of the world. Imagine walking this life with a cup so full of peace and love that it pours over our families, our friends, our workplace, and everything that we do!
Unfortunately, self-worth is not something that can be defined so easily, right? After all, we are not objects, we do not belong to the physical world so how can we define the worthiness of ourselves?
Well, good news, my friend! God is so perfect that he knew we would struggle with finding our worth in this world that he made sure he gave us His Word – so that if we ever struggled we could turn to His Word and remember that our worth has already been measured.
We are worth His Love. We are worth His Son.
And if that isn’t enough right now then read these scriptures away from the world. Take some time and welcome silence into your heart and mind and ask God to fill your entire vessel with him.
Then read these scriptures. Don’t talk. Just quietly read them and let them sink in!
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations…
God had plans for you! And not just small plans. No… We have a Holy Calling that was placed on our name since before we were born. When I read this scripture there are two things that come to my mind. Firstly, is that He is counting on you for something! Knowing WHO you are and constantly praying and looking to God will identify that calling. He will speak to you and you’ll know when He speaks.
Secondly, He set you and I apart for such a time as this. How many times have we let the world carry us like a twig on a current of water? The truth is today, right now as you are reading this – God had planned and set time apart just like he set the waters apart, so that you could read this.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD , plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
A lot of Christians believe that we were born to suffer.
“Oh I must have not been good enough for that promotion.”
Or “maybe I should have done more to get approved for that college.”
“Oh, I am just not cut out for entrepreneurship.”
Remove those limiting beliefs from your hearts! God’s plans are plans of prosperity, hope and a bright future. It’s Time For You To Receive them.
And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God
The Bible carries God’s promises to us. But it also carries the stipulations of those promises. Those stipulations are roadmaps to God’s promises. They are clear. They are concise. And cannot be left to “interpretation”.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
I want to add one more scripture here:
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us–none can compare to You–if I would proclaim and declare of them, they are more than could be numbered.
“Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders You have done…” and I am one of them!
I am a Wonder. I am Work of God. And I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
The Word repeats the fact that God has prepared us for something. There is work to be done on this Earth, at this time. And YOU were made for it!
John 14:12 -14
Very truly I will tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.
This is such a powerful scripture. Imagine having the ability to call upon Christ and knowing the promises he’s made. If you remember these promises every day, how would your walk be as you go throughout your day? How would your life be different?
